Fall Greetings From The Bertram Group

Greetings,

This is one of our favorite times of the year—when reunions with friends, teachers, and mentors fill us with a sense of connection, anticipation, and opportunity. It reminds us that with a new start and the right people at your side, anything is possible. Wherever you and your family are in your educational journey, The Bertram Group is here to support you.

TBG serves students from pre-kindergarten through graduate school and into their next steps. When a family works with us—whether considering  day schools, boarding schools, colleges, or therapeutic schools—they experience professionals who listen carefully, have a deep familiarity with a wide range of options, and take the time to develop a relationship with each young person and their family. One hallmark of The Bertram Group in every case is delivering a high-quality, personalized experience.

These are the partners who are dedicated to helping your family fulfill your educational goals:

Krissy Naspo, Managing Partner, Boarding School and Non-Traditional Advising, provides expert advising to international and traditional boarding school families, as well as those needing non-traditional or therapeutic services. Prior to joining TBG, Krissy worked in boarding school admissions and secondary school placement, helping students explore and define the next step on their educational journey.

Audrey Ludemann, Senior Partner, Day and Boarding School Advising, honed her ability to identify, celebrate and communicate the unique qualities of each student during her decades as a teacher and then as a consultant. In addition to advising traditional learners, she has a comprehensive understanding of various learning styles and advises a broad range of students seeking an independent day or boarding school experience.

Deena Maerowitz, Partner, College and Graduate School Advising, helps young people gain self-awareness, reduce stress, and meet with success in both college and graduate school admissions. Deena has worked in non-profits, on Capitol Hill, and in the admissions office at Columbia University Business School, where she gained keen insights into what makes candidates stand out.

Jeremy McGeorge, Partner, Non-Traditional Advising, advises families seeking non-traditional placements such as outdoor behavioral health, specialized residential treatment, and clinical boarding schools as part of their educational journey. Jeremy has an extensive network of specialized providers and brings critical empathy and listening skills to help youth in transition find a new path with a heightened sense of balance and predictability.

Holly McGlennon Treat, Partner, Boarding School Advising, has a talent for helping students discover what makes them special and works with them to express themselves in person and on paper. Holly has relationships with admission directors throughout the United States and Eastern Canada which provides her with an abundance of information to guide the school search process. Her three-decade-long career serving a variety of roles related to boarding schools makes her uniquely situated to support students in finding the best fit school.

Together, we are The Bertram Group—a firm with passion, expertise, and a track record of success in every niche of educational consulting. In the coming weeks, we will be introducing the rest of our amazing team. We are proud of our families, the journeys they take, and the work we do together.

As always, we look forward to hearing from you and supporting your needs in educational advising.
