Jeremy McGeorge

Based on his broad experience working within programs, Jeremy takes an individualized and empathetic approach to helping at-risk students and families. He employs creative solutions and reflective listening to guide students and families to the best options available, including outdoor behavioral programs and therapeutic boarding schools. Jeremy is passionate and driven to provide families with the opportunities, skills, and support to learn, thrive, and find new family balance.
Jeremy brings a unique perspective to non-traditional advising as his career has straddled both sides of the industry. Before launching into a career with The Bertram Group, Jeremy spent more than ten years in admissions, program development, and specialized residential treatment to families with at risk youth. As an advisor he brings a wealth of experience of both the landscape of the schools/programs as well as an intimacy of understanding of the inner workings of the institutions.
Jeremy began his work in the outdoors, working in direct care for in the outdoor behavioral health care industry. He has served as a member of the development teams for leading therapeutic programs in the Berkshires, northern Vermont, Utah, Arizona, and Costa Rica, and has worked in behavioral health care hospital administration at a national level. Jeremy has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arizona, a B.S. in Biology from Northern Arizona University,
